Edition 2025 — Sti Maschr

In 2025, "Sti Maschr" also enlivened the carnival of Castronuovo di Sant'Andrea with artist-designed masks by contemporary artists, workshops for children at the Polo Museale, typical dishes in the square, and a parade accompanied by the sound of the cup'cup'.

The 2025 edition of "Sti Maschr" confirmed the formula of the art carnival of Castronuovo di Sant'Andrea: the Polo Museale invited contemporary artists to create the festival's masks, inspired by the poetry of Albino Pierro and the village's identity. The day combined creative workshops for the little ones, convivial moments with traditional dishes, and a masked parade through the historic center, accompanied by the characteristic sound of the cup'cup', a popular instrument of the Lucanian carnival.
