Stelle Cadenti 2025: a tribute to Mario Palmieri

The 2025 edition of Stelle Cadenti, scheduled from August 8 to 16 in Bassano in Teverina, took on a special significance: one year after the passing of its creator, the artist Mario Palmieri, the festival paid tribute to him with a series of exhibitions set up in the most evocative places of the village, from the Municipal Hall to the caves, from the washhouse to the town squares.

Under the artistic direction of Dafne Crocella, the event proposed a retrospective dedicated to Palmieri's work alongside collective exhibitions and installations linked to the social and civic themes dear to him, from the commitment to peace to reflection on the present. Alongside the exhibitions, the program included meetings, presentations, and debates, confirming Stelle Cadenti's vocation as a festival that unites contemporary art and community participation in the heart of the province of Viterbo.
