Edition 2025 — Steak Festival

In 2025, the Pieve Fosciana Steak Festival took place over two weekends in August, from the 21st to the 24th and from the 28th to the 30th, at the Viale Europa sports complex. Food stands were open every evening from 7:30 PM with rustic Garfagnana appetizers, rigatoni all'amatriciana with Garfagnana pecorino, grilled steaks, and the traditional 2kg challenge.

Steak Festival 2025

The 2025 edition was held in Pieve Fosciana, in Garfagnana, over two weekends in August: from the 21st to the 24th and from the 28th to the 30th. At the Viale Europa sports complex, food stands offered rustic Garfagnana appetizers with cured meats and cheeses, rigatoni all'amatriciana with guanciale and Garfagnana pecorino, and grilled steaks in various sizes, up to the 1kg Florentine, every evening from 7:30 PM.

The 2kg challenge was also the protagonist in 2025, which since 2011 has seen only a portion of challengers succeed in finishing the steak within an hour to avoid paying for it.
