In the historic centre of San Lorenzo in Campo, a small municipality in the Cesano Valley in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino (Marche), the Teatro Comunale Mario Tiberini has been the main cultural hub of the area for decades. The "1 Palco 1000 Emozioni" theatre season is the Tiberini's winter programme, promoted by the Municipal Administration of San Lorenzo in Campo through the Department of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with AMAT (Associazione Marchigiana Attività Teatrali) and with the support of the Marche Region and the Ministry of Culture. The programme brings together seven events each year, alternating authorial prose, civic theatre, great classics revisited in a contemporary key, music, comedy, and family shows.
A programme that intertwines multiple festivals
The strength of "1 Palco 1000 Emozioni" lies in the intertwining of multiple regional strands and festivals that coexist under the same roof:
- the AMAT prose festival "Teatri d'Autore", which brings well-known names in Italian theatre to the village;
- "Andar per Fiabe", the festival dedicated to children and families, with puppet shows, marionettes, and storytelling;
- the NEXT circuit, a showcase for contemporary and experimental theatre;
- musical events and projects aimed at young people, which broaden the offering beyond just prose.

The programming is designed to involve audiences of all ages, combining artistic quality, civic engagement, and attention to the local community. How to get there
San Lorenzo in Campo can be reached by car from the SS73bis and the Fano-Grosseto expressway (Pergola/Fossombrone exit), in the hinterland of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino. The nearest train station is Fano or Senigallia, from where you can continue by bus or car towards the Cesano Valley.
Tickets
Tickets generally range from 8 to 15 euros depending on the show and can be purchased online (plus booking fees) at vivaticket.com or at authorized AMAT/Vivaticket points of sale. The theatre box office opens on the day of the performance in the hours before it begins.
