Stagione Lirica di Ancona

The 2025 edition of the Stagione Lirica di Ancona opened on October 10 at the "Franco Corelli" Teatro delle Muse with Giuseppe Verdi's Il Trovatore (performances October 10 and 12), conducted by Andriy Yurkevych and directed by Giuseppe Dipasquale, featuring the Orchestra Gioachino Rossini of Pesaro and the Coro Lirico Marchigiano "Vincenzo Bellini". In December, Gioachino Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia was staged (December 5 and 7), conducted by Jacopo Brusa with direction by Damiano Michieletto, performed by the FORM-Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana and the Coro del Teatro Ventidio Basso of Ascoli Piceno. Two productions that confirmed the Teatro delle Muse as a benchmark for opera in the Marche region.
