In 2025, the Cava del Sole returned to the forefront of the Matera scene with its reopening to the general public on the weekend of September 26-27, marked by the Deejay Time Again Summer Tour with Albertino, Fargetta, Molella, and Prezioso, in a free event requiring booking.
After a period of closure, the Cava del Sole reopened to the general public on September 26 and 27, 2025. On September 26, the arena hosted the Deejay Time Again Summer Tour, with Albertino, Fargetta, Molella, and Prezioso on the decks, in a large free event requiring booking. The reopening relaunched the Cava as a performance space in view of 2026, the year of Matera Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue.
