Staggia Senese Frog Festival

The 2025 edition of the Frog Festival took place in June in Staggia Senese, a hamlet of Poggibonsi in the province of Siena, confirming the success of one of the most deep-rooted food festivals in the Valdelsa region. The stalls, set up by the G.S.D. Staggia Senese volunteers at the Via Romana sports grounds, offered fried frogs along with other traditional Tuscan dishes: grilled meat, snails, fried fish, cacciucco, and pizza.

As is customary, the weekend evenings were accompanied by music and dancing, in a convivial atmosphere that attracted visitors from all over the Sienese territory.
