Edition 2025 — Stabat Mater at the Certosa
On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, the Church of the Certosa Monumentale di Calci hosted Pergolesi's Stabat Mater as part of the second edition of the 'Music and Dance in the National Museums of Pisa' series. The Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, conducted by Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta, performed the 18th-century score in collaboration with the Consorzio Coreografi Danza d'Autore, creating an intense and multisensory experience where sacred music and contemporary dance merged to reinterpret the score through movement.
Admission to the performance was included with the museum ticket (5 euros for the Certosa di Calci), with limited seating and recommended booking.
