St. Peter & Paul Patronal Festival 2025
In 2025, the patronal feast of St. Peter fell on Sunday, June 29, coinciding with the liturgical feast of Saints Peter and Paul. The Val di Funes community gathered in the parish church for the 9:30 AM solemn mass, animated by the parish choir and the Villnöß brass band.
After the service, the procession took place, heading to the school courtyard with the proclamation of the Gospel, prayers, and the final blessing. To conclude, the Schützenkompanie Villnöß invited everyone to a small outdoor celebration featuring Bauerngeröstel, lamb goulash with dumplings, sausage with fries, coffee, and Krapfen, in a typical village festival atmosphere at the foot of the Odle peaks.
