Edition 2025 — St. Martin's at Castel Thun

The second edition of the St. Martin's Festival at Castel Thun took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in the municipality of Ton. Organized by the Castello del Buonconsiglio with the Municipality of Vigo di Ton, the Val di Non Tourist Board, the Apple and Flavors Route, the Pro Loco of Ton, and Slow Food Terre del Noce, the day combined guided tours, workshops, show cooking, a market, and tastings, concluding with the charming lantern parade at 5:00 PM.

The St. Martin's Festival at Castel Thun 2025 was held on Sunday, November 9, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, attracting families and enthusiasts to the setting of the Val di Non manor.

The program offered guided tours of the historic vegetable garden (11:00 AM and 2:30 PM) and the manor (departures every 30 minutes from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM), "The Colors of the Garden" workshops using natural dyes (10:30 AM and 2:00 PM), and the construction of St. Martin's lanterns (2:00 PM and 3:30 PM). For the little ones, the story "A Suitcase Story" was told using the kamishibai technique. The show cooking by Davide Zambelli (12:00 PM), inspired by the Thun family recipe book, and the taste workshop by Slow Food with tastings of historic apple varieties enriched the day, along with the artisan and producer market, roasted chestnuts, and the food and wine point managed by the Pro Loco.

The festival concluded at 5:00 PM with the lantern walk, the candlelight parade through the castle walls. Admission with activities cost 5 euros, free for minors; access to the gardens was free.
