Edition 2025 — St. John's Night

The 13th edition of St. John's Night brought Piazza Domenico Stromei in Tocco da Casauria to life in June 2025, confirming the format that combines the ancient rite of commaranza, food stalls with arrosticini and fried pizzas, and open-air ballroom dancing, all with free admission thanks to the Pro Loco Casauria APS.

St. John's Night 2025 renewed the most magical appointment of the early summer in Tocco da Casauria (PE). In Piazza Domenico Stromei, the Pro Loco Casauria APS offered the traditional formula that made the event famous: the opening of food and wine stalls with fried pizzas and Abruzzese arrosticini, the evocative rite of exchanging flower bouquets and wheat stalks (the commaranza), and the dance evening with a live orchestra.

In 2025, the festival was once again free to attend, attracting families and visitors from across the Pescara Valley for a night dedicated to folklore, the flavors of Abruzzo, and village conviviality.
