Edition 2025 — St. John's Night Modugno

In 2025, St. John's Night in Modugno once again brought the community together around the bonfire, with the usual night walk organized by Sentieri Modugnesi APS. Along the local trails, Balsignano, and the 'lame', participants relived ancient rituals tied to light and wishes, with refreshment areas and the rediscovery of Modugno's historical sites under the starry sky.

St. John's Night 2025 in Modugno

In June 2025, the Sentieri Modugnesi APS association renewed the appointment with St. John's Night, one of the most evocative nights of the summer. As per tradition, the event featured a night walk at a slow pace along the local trails, with the traditional bonfire and folk rituals tied to light and wishes.

The route crossed the symbolic landmarks of Modugno, from the Casale di Balsignano to the countryside and the 'lame', with rest and refreshment areas. A free, participatory event that confirmed the association's dedication to the rediscovery and enhancement of the city's rural and historical heritage within the Metropolitan City of Bari.
