Edition 2025 — St. John's Night at Campotrera

In June 2025, the Rupe di Campotrera Nature Reserve in Rossena di Canossa (Reggio Emilia) once again hosted a night hike on St. John's Eve. Accompanied by a hiking environmental guide, participants walked in the dark along the trails among the reddish ophiolites, under Rossena Castle, discovering the traditions of the summer solstice and the nocturnal nature of the protected area.

The 2025 edition of St. John's Night confirmed the charm of a hike that combines nature, geology, and popular tradition in the Rupe di Campotrera Nature Reserve, in the Municipality of Canossa (Province of Reggio Emilia). Along an easy path suitable for families, the guide led participants through the ophiolite outcrops and the evening landscapes of the reserve, recounting the rituals associated with the night of June 23rd. An intimate event, with mandatory booking, which each year allows for a different experience of one of the most picturesque corners of the Reggiano Apennines.
