St. George's Mushroom Festival and Shepherd's Days

The twenty-first edition of the St. George's Mushroom Festival and Shepherd's Days took place in Pieve Santo Stefano from May 16 to 18, 2025, organized by the Pro Loco Association. The food stalls offered the prugnolo in all its forms, along with traditional Pieve-style tortelli, polenta with ragù or mushrooms, and other local specialties.

The program alternated live music every evening in Piazza della Collegiata, the truffle dog search competition, the beach volleyball tournament, games for children, and the Prugnolo Eco-walk with the Prugnolo Bike, through the hills of the Valtiberina. The Shepherd's Days paid homage to the ancient agro-pastoral traditions of the territory, in a well-attended edition that confirmed the success of this historic spring festival in the province of Arezzo.
