Edition 2025 — St. Anthony and SS. Annunziata
The 2025 edition in Calascio
The festivities in honor of St. Anthony and the SS. Annunziata were held in Calascio (AQ) from July 16 to 21, 2025. The preparatory triduum, from July 16 to 18, featured the recitation of the Rosary and Holy Mass every day at 5:30 PM in the Church of St. Anthony.
The Feast of St. Anthony, on Sunday, July 20, opened at 8:00 AM with fireworks; at 11:00 AM, the solemn mass, presided over by Father Lino Dan S.J., was followed by a procession through the town. The following day, for the Feast of the SS. Annunziata, the 11:00 AM solemn mass was presided over by H.E. Bishop Michele Fusco, with a subsequent procession through the streets of the historic center.
The celebrations, coordinated by the Municipality of Calascio with the commitment of the fellow citizens, confirmed the vitality of a religious tradition that unites the community of this medieval village at the foot of the Rocca, in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.
