Edition 2025 — SS. Filippo and Giacomo Feast

In 2025, Canosa Sannita once again celebrated its Patronal Feast in honor of SS. Filippo and Giacomo on May 1st. In keeping with tradition, the community gathered for religious services in the parish church, the procession of the patron saints' statues through the village streets accompanied by the band, and popular festivities including the blessing of agricultural machinery, the food festival, and music in the square.

The 2025 edition of the SS. Filippo and Giacomo Patronal Feast took place as every year on May 1st in Canosa Sannita, in the province of Chieti.

The day followed the usual festival program: solemn masses in the parish church of the patron saints, the afternoon procession of the statues along the village streets accompanied by the band, the blessing of agricultural machinery in Piazza Indipendenza, and, in the evening, fireworks, the gastronomic festival with fava beans, pecorino, and prosciutto, and live music. An event that brings the entire Canosa community together every year in a celebration of faith and tradition.
