SS. Crocifisso Festival

In 2025, the SS. Crocifisso Festival of Collesano was celebrated on September 13th and 14th, according to the traditional dates. The program, announced by the Festival Committee, included the preparation novena, the Eucharistic celebration on September 13th, and the solemn celebration on the 14th with the act of entrusting the city to the Crucifix and the procession of the venerated wooden statue by Fra' Umile da Petralia through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the band. On the civil side, there was no shortage of the historic Singing Competition for children and amateurs, with the awarding of the 'Golden Crucifix', and the final fireworks display, in a festival that brought together the entire Collesano community.
