Springtime in Music at Villa Belvedere
The Spring Review is a well-established tradition of the Villa Belvedere Theatre in Mirano, in the province of Venice. For three Sunday afternoons in March, it offers shows of song, popular music, and narration, with a particular focus on Venetian tradition and women's history.
A Programme of Song and Storytelling
The shows create a dialogue between music and words, featuring local artists and projects dedicated to research on Venetian and European folk singing. The review is part of the Marzo Donna (Women's March) programme of the Municipality of Mirano.
Organisation
The Spring Review is promoted by the Municipality of Mirano with the cultural association Il Portico - Teatro Club APS and the association I Toca Mi Ets, with artistic direction by Bruno Pietro Spolaore.
Spring Review — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the twelfth, of the Spring Review at the Villa Belvedere Theatre in Mirano is spread over three consecutive Sundays in March, all at 4:00 PM. The common thread is song and folk music, with a focus on women's history and experiences, as part of the Marzo Donna programme.
The review is promoted by the Municipality of Mirano with Il Portico - Teatro Club APS and I Toca Mi Ets, under the artistic direction of Bruno Pietro Spolaore.

- "Donne di Terra" with Rachele Colombo — original compositions, cover songs, and traditional chants exploring Venetian folk singing
Sunday, March 8, 2026 — 4:00 PM
- "Ritratti veneziani" with Giovanni dell'Olivo and the Collettivo di Lagunaria — songs and biographical narration inspired by the work of Alberto Toso Fei
Sunday, March 15, 2026 — 4:00 PM
- "Festa sull'Aia" with I Toca Mi Ets — traditional Venetian and European songs
- "Le donne dai mille viaggi" with Margherita Cazzuffi (Margh) — melodies with folk inspiration and monologues
