Spring Festival — Treno Natura in Castiglione d'Orcia

Spring Festival 2025

The 2025 edition, titled "Spring in Val d'Orcia," was held on April 25 with the usual Treno Natura steam train journey from Siena. The train, consisting of a historic locomotive and 1930s "Centoporte" carriages, crossed the lands of Brunello di Montalcino and the UNESCO landscape of the Val d'Orcia before arriving by coach in Castiglione d'Orcia. In the village, in the province of Siena, visitors found craft markets, tastings of local products, musicians, and street performers, with the opening of the Torre della Rocca di Tentennano and the Rocca Aldobrandesca. The return took place in the late afternoon, by coach to Torrenieri and from there by train to Siena.
