Edition 2025 — Spring Festival

In the 2025 edition, the Pretoro spring festival, heir to the "Borgo in Festa" exhibition, enlivened the historic center over the April 25th weekend with gourmet aperitifs, craft workshops, live music, markets, and the traditional Madonna della Mazza ritual organized by the Pro Loco Pretoro APS.

The 2025 edition of the spring festival in Pretoro, in the province of Chieti, revisited the formula that combines taste, tradition, and community. In the village squares, the Pro Loco set up gourmet aperitifs with traditional Abruzzese products, craft markets, and live music, while workshops dedicated to pasta alla chitarra and creative gardening engaged families and visitors.

As per tradition, the devotional moment of the return of the Madonna della Mazza to the Church of Sant'Andrea sealed the festival, confirming the deep bond between the Pretoro community and its religious and cultural heritage.
