Edition 2025 — Spring Carnival

The second edition of the Spring Carnival took place in Crispiano from May 30 to June 1, 2025, transforming the historic center into a large open-air theater. Three evenings of parades with over 600 performers from eight Italian regions and Peru, featuring papier-mâché towers, banners, and the giant four-meter-tall Fantàsia mask, the symbol of the event organized by the Chitros Association.

The second edition (2025)

From May 30 to June 1, 2025, Crispiano became the capital of the Spring Carnival with its second edition, organized by the Chitros Association with the support of the Municipality as part of the "Crispiano Creativa" call for projects.

The event opened on Friday, May 30, from 8:00 PM with an inaugural evening hosted by Franco Cosa and Annette. On Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1, also starting at 8:00 PM, the two grand parades took place, starting from Via Martina Franca and accompanied along the route by three sound stations.

The event featured over 600 performers arriving from eight Italian regions and Peru, giving the festival an international dimension. The streets and squares of the center were decorated with papier-mâché, scenic towers, and banners, while the large Fantàsia mask, four meters tall, welcomed visitors. Alongside the spectacular performances, there was a charity lottery supporting social causes in the Taranto area.
