Edition 2025 — Spring Blooms

In the spring of Garfagnana, San Romano in Garfagnana and the spaces of the Villetta-San Romano station provide a natural setting for the meeting of wildflowers, hikes in the Apennine woods, and local traditions. It is within this context of promoting trails, wild herbs, and the valley's natural and cultural heritage that the spring animation project, later consolidated into the Spring Blooms format, took shape.

Spring in Garfagnana

In San Romano in Garfagnana, in the Province of Lucca, the spring season brings with it the blooming of meadows and woods in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the opening of hiking trails, and the rediscovery of the valley's wild herbs. Around the revitalized Villetta-San Romano station, along the historic Lucca-Aulla railway, the municipality offers opportunities to walk, learn about local biodiversity, and experience the landscape in a slow and sustainable way.

This heritage of nature, tradition, and gentle mobility forms the roots from which the Municipality developed the program of thematic events that characterizes the Garfagnana spring today.
