Edition 2025 — Sports Festival

The ninth edition of the Sports Festival took place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM in the historic center of Monte Porzio Catone, as part of the Saint Antoninus the Martyr festivities. Guests included skater Gaspare Gentile, "King Gasp", and the Italian National Soccer Team of former Olympic athletes, who played a friendly match at the Giolitti-Natangeli field against a team from the Rioni Tournament, which was in its first edition that year.

The ninth edition

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM, Monte Porzio Catone hosted the ninth Sports Festival. The event was spread across the historic center, the main squares, and municipal facilities, with local sports associations engaged in exhibitions and trials open to the public: soccer, volleyball, basketball, skating, martial arts, fencing, and chess.

At the Raniero Colucci Sports Hall, at 4:00 PM, the fourth "Friends of Monte Porzio Tournament" was held, alongside skating performances; in Piazza Borghese, a ring was set up for boxing matches, while the foosball tournament was held at Bar Roma. At the Giolitti-Natangeli field, the friendly match between the National Team of former Olympic athletes and the Rioni Tournament team closed the day, along with a raffle featuring six official Roma and Lazio jerseys.

Programme

2:00 PM: Opening of sports association stands in the historic center. 4:00 PM, Raniero Colucci Sports Hall: 4th "Friends of Monte Porzio Tournament" and skating exhibitions. Piazza Borghese: boxing matches in the ring set up for the occasion. Bar Roma: foosball tournament. Giolitti-Natangeli field: friendly match between the Italian National Soccer Team of former Olympic athletes and the Rioni Tournament team. Throughout the afternoon, free trials of soccer, volleyball, basketball, skating, martial arts, fencing, and chess. In closing, a raffle with six official Roma and Lazio jerseys.
