The City of Sport
SporTiAmo is the town's sports event in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, in the province of Brescia. For three days, the Parco Fluviale Metelli, along the Oglio river, becomes a large open-air gym where local sports associations present their offerings with free trials, demonstrations, and exhibitions open to everyone.
Dozens of Disciplines
The event, organized by ASD PoliSporTiAmo, offers a very wide range of disciplines that every citizen can try for free:
- Individual sports: yoga, tennis, archery, judo, karate, kendo, kickboxing, tai chi
- Team sports: football, volleyball, basketball, handball
- Water sports: kayaking, canoeing, sport fishing
- Other disciplines: twirling, dance, triathlon
School and Citizenship
The event dedicates Friday and Saturday mornings to primary and lower secondary schools in Palazzolo, while Saturday afternoon and Sunday are open to the public. It's a way to introduce children and young people to the world of sport and to promote the associative fabric that animates community life. The closing evening, with the Bersaglieri Band and the awards ceremony for sporting excellence, seals three days dedicated to movement and togetherness.
SporTiAmo — edition 2026
The ninth edition of SporTiAmo enlivens Parco Metelli in Palazzolo sull'Oglio from May 22 to 24, 2026, as part of the 'Wonders of the River Land' season. Organized by ASD PoliSporTiAmo, it offers a rich program of free activities and demonstrations by local sports associations. Friday, May 22 (all day) and Saturday, May 23 (morning) are reserved for primary and lower secondary schools; Saturday afternoon and Sunday, May 24, are open to the public.
