Sponz Eden — Recinti di umanità

The 2025 edition of Sponz Fest animated the historic center of Calitri, in the province of Avellino, from August 28 to 30, with a preview on August 27 in the nearby village of Cairano. The title Sponz Eden — Recinti di umanità (Sponz Eden — Enclosures of Humanity) started from the idea of an enclosure: that which separates, but also that which guards.

The lineup brought together very diverse names, from Nino D'Angelo to Peppe Barra, Max Casacci to Tricarico, violinist Scarlet Rivera to English singer-songwriter David Ford, and the Guthrie Family Singers. Alongside the concerts, as always, were the lectures of the Libera Università per Ripetenti with guests such as writer Donatella Di Pietrantonio, anthropologist Vito Teti, and former diplomat Enrico Calamai.

The most beloved rituals of the Fest were present: the Wimblesponz tennis tournament, the musical barbershop, children's activities, and itinerant night performances through the village alleys, under the artistic direction of Vinicio Capossela.
