Edition 2025 — Sponsalia

The XXXVIII edition of Sponsalia took place in Acquaviva Picena from July 31 to August 3, 2025. Four evenings dedicated to the reenactment of the 1234 wedding, with the parade and betrothal on July 31, the wedding and competitions between the Aquila and Civetta Districts on August 1, the Ludi di Sponsalia on August 2, and the Medieval Wedding Banquet in the Fortress on August 3.

In 2025, Sponsalia celebrated its XXXVIII edition in Acquaviva Picena, in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The program opened on Thursday, July 31, with the parade, betrothal, and shows in the square, continued on Friday, August 1, with the wedding and challenges between the Aquila and Civetta Districts, and on Saturday, August 2, with the Ludi di Sponsalia featuring falconers, puppeteers, medieval games, and archery. The event concluded on Sunday, August 3, with the Medieval Wedding Banquet in the Fortress, enlivened by jesters, minstrels, dancers, and musicians.
