Spiedino Festival

The 47th edition of the Spiedino Festival was held from August 22 to 24, 2025, in Piazza Plebiscito, in Montereale (AQ). Every evening, from 7:30 PM, food stalls served the essential grilled skewers and typical dishes of the Alta Valle dell'Aterno.

Music enlivened the three evenings: Alta Quota on August 22, Ci Manna Rino on the 23rd, and Surama Tsu on the 24th, followed each night by the "Spiedisco" with DJs Carosone and Tatananni. On Sunday afternoon, from 4 PM, the historic center relived the history of Margaret of Austria with costumed processions and a suggestive joust, as part of the celebrations for L'Aquila Capital of Culture 2026.
