Edition 2025 — Spasimo Jazz Summer
The 2025 jazz summer at the Steri
In 2025, with the Spasimo still undergoing restoration work, the Brass Group Foundation brought great jazz music to Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri, in the historic center of Palermo. The Jazz at the Steri Festival offered twelve concerts from July 19th to September 21st, starting at 9:30 PM, hosting performers such as Walter Ricci, Sarah Jane Morris, and Richard Galliano.
Under the banner of the Sicilia Jazz Festival
The festival completed the summer lineup following the Sicilia Jazz Festival (June 22 - July 6, 2025), the only event entirely dedicated to orchestral productions with the Brass Group's Sicilian Jazz Orchestra, distributed between Steri, Spasimo, Real Teatro Santa Cecilia, Teatro di Verdura, and the Botanical Garden. A season that kept the bond between Palermo and jazz alive, while awaiting the return of music to the Spasimo setting in 2026.
