Edition 2025 — Sparti Prize

The 4th edition of the Sparti Prize, dedicated to the theme "The Border," took place in Ascoli Piceno from May 17 to June 28, 2025. The exhibition involved 24 Italian and international artists, both young and established, with exhibitions spread across Palazzo dei Capitani, the O. Licini Contemporary Art Gallery, the Frida Art Academy, and the Frida Museum.

The fourth edition of the Sparti Prize, titled "The Border", animated Ascoli Piceno from May 17 to June 28, 2025, with a program spread across multiple venues in the historic center. The main exhibition of the competition, Zig Zag curated by Niccolò Giacomazzi, interpreted the border not as a barrier but as a space for transition and dialogue, through a dynamic and non-linear movement. Alongside it, the exhibition included Infinite Border curated by Giuliana Benassi and solo shows dedicated to Ivo Cotani and Dario Capello.

The jury—composed among others by Matteo Piccioni, Stefano Papetti, Giuliana Benassi, Zeno Rossi, and Simone Sparti—selected the young winning artist, proclaimed on June 28, 2025, to whom a solo exhibition was reserved in the following edition. The venues involved confirmed Ascoli Piceno's vocation as a center for contemporary art in the Marche region.
