Edition 2025 — Sparsi nella Polenta

In December 2025, the Mutual Aid Society of Castelletto Merli celebrated its 75th anniversary and experienced a rebirth with the first community meeting, "Sparsi nel bello", at the Godio hamlet headquarters. From that moment, the spirit was born that, a few months later, led to the "17th Century Lunch": conviviality, tradition, and the promotion of the town's scattered hamlets in the heart of the Monferrato area.

The origins: "Sparsi nel bello" 2025

Before the "17th Century Lunch", the community of Castelletto Merli gathered in December 2025 for the first meeting organized by the reborn S.O.M.S. at the Godio headquarters. The initiative, titled "Sparsi nel bello", celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Mutual Aid Society with tastings of local wines, town-themed quiz games, and the presentation of a tote bag featuring the twelve localities of the municipality.

From this success was born the motto later taken up by the polenta lunch: the idea of a community "scattered" among the hamlets of Monferrato but capable of gathering around the table and traditions, kicking off an entire calendar of events for 2026.
