Sovicille of Wonders

The 2025 event opened to the public, in the territory of Sovicille (Siena), places usually inaccessible: the Castello di Poggiarello, Palazzo al Piano, Villa de Vecchi Chigi, numerous Romanesque parish churches, as well as the Etruscan Necropolis of Malignano. The program included an art exhibition, animated readings for children, sky observations at the Montarrenti Observatory, book presentations, show cooking with local chefs, "Cavalgiocare" activities for children, and the "Walks in the Wonders" guided hikes.

All events were free of charge, organized by the Pro Loco of Sovicille in collaboration with the Municipality and the property owners. Due to the funeral of Pope Francis, the Saturday morning activities were cancelled and the opening was postponed to 2:30 PM.
