South Italy International Film Festival

The fourth edition of the South Italy International Film Festival brought the big screen to the beach of Barletta, at Lido I Ribelli on the Pietro Mennea seafront, from July 18 to 20, 2025, with screenings starting at 7:00 PM and free admission.

Over 400 international short films were in competition, evaluated by a jury of directors and professionals including Giuseppe Marco Albano, Marino Guarnieri, Irene Antonucci, Luca Desiderato, Francesco Santalucia, and Antonello De Leo. The edition introduced a new fantasy-sci-fi category and awarded the Green Focus Prize, the FEDIC Prize, and the Terraufidia Prize, with the planting of a tree in the "South Italy Forest" of the Treedom project for the winners.

The screenings were accompanied by side events: book presentations, choreographies, theatrical performances, and the performance of the LIS choir "Incanto di mani".
