Edition 2025 — SorsiCorti

The 19th edition of SorsiCorti took place in Palermo from November 5 to 9, 2025, across the Rouge et Noir cinema, the Cre.Zi. Plus at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, and the Piccolo Teatro Patafisico. Five free evenings featuring 21 international short films in competition, wine tastings, and an inaugural tribute to Martin Scorsese with a screening of "After Hours".

The 19th edition of SorsiCorti was held in Palermo from November 5 to 9, 2025, hosted between the Rouge et Noir cinema, the Cre.Zi. Plus at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, and the Piccolo Teatro Patafisico. The opening night paid tribute to Martin Scorsese with a screening of "After Hours" (1985).

21 international short films were in competition. The jury awarded the prize for best film to "Ce qui appartient à César" by French director Violette Gitton, best direction to "Such a lovely day" by British director Simon Woods, and best experimental short to "Create; survive" by Canadian director Alex Anna. "Playing God" by Italian director Matteo Burani was awarded best animated short. All evenings were free of charge, accompanied by the usual wine tastings.
