Edition 2025 — Sonnta-Hons Markt

On June 24, 2025, Prato allo Stelvio renewed its appointment with the Sonnta-Hons Markt, the traditional market for the feast of St. John the Baptist. In keeping with a centuries-old custom, the morning began with mass in the church of St. John, followed by the market with stalls, regional products from the Vinschgau Valley, food, and drinks.

The 2025 edition of the Sonnta-Hons Markt (St. Johann-Markt) was held on June 24, 2025, in Prato allo Stelvio, in the Vinschgau Valley. True to its tradition as the town's oldest Kirchtag, the festival featured mass in the old church of St. John and, subsequently, the traditional market in the town center. Among the stalls, there was no shortage of regional products and gastronomic stands with South Tyrolean specialties, in a festive atmosphere shared by residents and guests of the municipality of Prato allo Stelvio, the gateway to the Stelvio National Park.
