Sommerfest / Oldtimertreffen of the Freiwillige Feuerwehr Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde

The 2025 edition of the Sommerfest with Oldtimertreffen, organized by the Freiwillige Feuerwehr of Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde, was held on Sunday, August 11, 2025, on the Deutschnonsberg, in the municipality of Senale-San Felice in the province of Bolzano.

As per tradition, hundreds of vintage vehicles—tractors, cars, and old fire trucks—gathered around the village. In the afternoon, the firefighters of Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde, together with the corps of Lana, Tscherms, and Burgstall, colleagues from Casez (Val di Non), and the Carabinieri, performed a Schauübung: the simulation of a vehicle fire after a crash into an embankment, extinguished using historical pumps and tools. The day concluded with music and traditional cuisine, in a spirit of fun and community.
