"Soli Deo Gloria" Organ Festival

Sturno, fourth edition

In 2025, the "Soli Deo Gloria" Organ Festival reached its fourth year, confirming the format of organ concerts hosted in the churches of Irpinia under the artistic direction of Maestro Vincenzo Di Ianni. The Sturno stop took place on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at the Diocesan Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo in Piazza Michele Aufiero, featuring a concert by organist Luca Scandali.

The event, organized by the SS. Domenico e Francesco Parish, was free to attend and open to all interested citizens, with no reservation required. As with other editions, the goal was to introduce the public of Sturno and the Province of Avellino to the value of the pipe organ preserved in local churches, an instrument that rarely leaves the liturgical context to become the star of a concert evening.
