Solemnity of Saint Geronzio – Feast of the Patron Saint

In 2025, the feast of the patron saint Saint Geronzio fell on Friday, May 9th. The celebrations began in the morning with Holy Masses in the Church of Saint Geronzio, at the site of martyrdom, at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. In the late afternoon, at 5:30 PM, the solemn Eucharistic celebration was held in the Co-Cathedral Basilica, presided over by Bishop Andrea and animated by the Polyphonic Choir of Cagli. Afterwards, the procession reached the Church of Saint Geronzio accompanied by the city's wind band, renewing a tradition deeply felt by the community of Cagli, in the Marche region.
