Solemn Forty Hours Festival

The Solemn Forty Hours Festival 2025 brought Montale (PT) to life from 6 to 10 June. The religious programme at the Propositura di San Giovanni Evangelista included the exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Confirmations, First Communions, a memorial service for the deceased, and the final procession on 10 June with Bishop Tardelli.

On the civil side, the Festivities Committee — with the patronage of the Municipality of Montale — organized the 'Walk for Rebecca', an integrated basketball exhibition, the Ginnica Olimpia performance, the 'Pizza in the Square' evening, the Verdi Band concert, and the closing with the bombolone festival and the awarding of the 'Montalese of the Year' prize. Live music and food stalls every evening.
