Solemn Celebrations in Honor of the Madonna delle Grazie

The 2025 edition of the Madonna delle Grazie festival in Torricella was held from Wednesday, August 6th, to Saturday, August 9th. The triduum of preparation (August 6-8) featured evening masses at 7:00 PM in the Madonna delle Grazie church.

On the eve of August 8th, Piazza Lacaita hosted the Rioni Food Festival "Local Flavors and Traditions," accompanied by the music of violinist Chiara Conte and DJ Cristian Falco. On Saturday, August 9th, the feast day, celebrations began with a 7:30 AM mass at the "Madonna delle Grazie" Winery, followed by a 10:00 AM mass; at 6:30 PM, the solemn procession took place, followed by a Eucharistic celebration at 7:30 PM presided over by Monsignor Salvatore Ligorio, Archbishop Emeritus of Potenza, in the SS. Trinità church.

The final evening featured a pizzica performance by the "Gruppo Isteria - Salento Folk Festival," a brass band concert by the "Giacomo Puccini" association of Sava, and at 11:30 PM, fireworks by "Itria Fireworks" of Martina Franca, with fairground rides for families in Piazzale Nazioni. During the festivities, a "Pact of Friendship" was also signed between the festival committees of Torricella and Santa Domenica of Scorrano.
