Edition 2025 — Saint Calogero Festival
The 2025 edition
The 2025 festivities in Favara took place from July 25 to August 4, with a calendar that combined devotion and entertainment. The Day for Peace on July 25 opened the celebrations with Mass, lighting, and Eucharistic adoration, while the following days featured dance evenings with Peppuccio Barravecchia, the "Burraco under the Stars" tournament, and the vintage car and motorcycle rally accompanied by the cabaret of Mariuccia Cannata.
The culminating moment was on August 3rd, with Masses from dawn to dusk, the solemn procession of the statue starting at 9:30 PM, the arrival in Piazza Cavour, and the fireworks display, followed by the traditional acchianata with drums. The festival closed on August 4th with a concert by Gianni Celeste in Piazza Cavour.
