Edition 2025 — Social Carnival

In 2025 too, the Social Carnival of the Historic Center enlivened Genoa's alleyways with processions from the neighborhoods and a collective party, the result of a process of workshops and activities spread across the historic center's Sestieri. Masks, music, and street artists transformed the city into a large space for participation.

The 2025 edition of the Social Carnival of the Historic Center confirmed the formula of a Carnival built from the ground up, with workshops spread across the Sestieri of Prè, Molo, and Maddalena serving as preparation for the grand Fat Tuesday party.

As tradition dictates, the processions starting from the neighborhoods traversed Genoa's historic center, enlivened by street artists and musical groups, converging in the collective party open to all citizens.
