Edition 2025 — Snails in Winter
The 2025 edition of Snails in Winter brought the signature dish of Cantalupo, a hamlet of Bevagna in the province of Perugia, to the cold months. The Pro Loco Cantalupo Castelbuono offered, in the heated rooms of the Multipurpose Center, specialties based on "lumaca aspersa" snails and peasant cuisine dishes, in a convivial atmosphere.
The winter event confirmed the community's connection to its gastronomic tradition, anticipating the great summer festival and keeping Cantalupo's fame as the "snail village" alive all year round.
