Edition 2025 — Siracusa Book Festival

The 2025 edition of the Siracusa Book Festival featured a three-stage tour across Sicily: Piazza Armerina (June 19-20, Municipal Library), Noto (June 21, Palazzo Nicolaci), and Syracuse (June 22, Teatro Comunale), which hosted the final evening. The event, created by Damiano Gallo, brought together writers, journalists, and celebrities, and awarded the Alessandra Appiano Prize to journalist and writer Lorenzo Tosa.

Siracusa Book Festival 2025: three stages in Sicily

The 2025 edition of the Siracusa Book Festival offered a three-stage traveling route through the heart of Sicily. The first, in Piazza Armerina (June 19-20) at the Municipal Library, opened the event with numerous guests. The second, in Noto (June 21) at the baroque Palazzo Nicolaci, represented a new stop in the capital of Sicilian baroque. The final evening was held on June 22 at the Teatro Comunale of Syracuse, featuring a round-table discussion dedicated to sustainability and renewable energy themes.

During the edition, the Alessandra Appiano Literary Prize was awarded to journalist and writer Lorenzo Tosa. The event confirmed its commitment to blending culture, current affairs, and the promotion of the Syracuse area and Sicily as a whole.
