Edition 2025 — Sipario Aperto

The 2025 edition of Sipario Aperto took place from July 5 to August 9, 2025, in Piazza San Pietro, Riposto, featuring six evenings of plays every Friday at 8:30 PM. Promoted by the Municipality of Riposto and organized with the Compagnia Teatrale Jonica, the festival opened with Molière's The Imaginary Invalid and showcased various Sicilian companies across comedy, drama, and dialect theatre.

The 2025 edition of Sipario Aperto brought six nights of theatre under the stars to Piazza San Pietro in Riposto, every Friday evening at 8:30 PM, from July 5 to August 9, 2025. The festival, promoted by the Municipal Administration led by Mayor Davide Vasta and Councillor for Events Davide Palermo, was organized in collaboration with the Compagnia Teatrale Jonica, directed by Giovanna Criscuolo.

The inauguration was entrusted to The Imaginary Invalid by Molière, in a brilliant Sicilian version by the Compagnia Teatrale Jonica. Various local companies and directors followed on stage, in a programme that alternated between brilliant comedy, drama, and popular theatre, confirming Piazza San Pietro as the pulsing heart of the city's cultural life.
