About Sile Jazz
The jazz that follows the river
Sile Jazz is a traveling festival that brings jazz music to unusual locations — parks, Venetian villas, woods, even a nursing home — along the course of the Sile River, between the provinces of Treviso and Venice. Organized by nusica.org with the artistic direction of Alessandro Fedrigo, it is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Veneto Region and enjoys the patronage of numerous riverside municipalities.
The Mogliano Veneto stop
In Mogliano Veneto, the festival stops at the Antonio Caregaro Negrin Park of Culture, a green setting in the heart of the town. The municipality is among those that welcome the festival each year, along with Treviso, Casale sul Sile, Casier, Istrana, Marcon, Morgano, Quarto d'Altino, Quinto di Treviso, Silea, and Vedelago.
Contemporary European Jazz
The "Altri Argini" edition offers a journey into contemporary European jazz that focuses on composition, improvisation, and sonic experimentation. The festival has also received the Jazz Takes The Green recognition for its attention to environmental sustainability.
Sile Jazz — edition 2026
The 15th edition of Sile Jazz, titled "Altri Argini", runs from June 5th to July 25th, 2026, with twenty-one events along the Sile River. The Mogliano Veneto stop is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th at 9:00 PM at the Antonio Caregaro Negrin Park of Culture.
The evening's highlight is the Johannes Mössinger Trio, featuring German pianist Johannes Mössinger, Martin Gjakonovski on double bass, and Bastian Jütte on drums: the "Versus" project dialogues between jazz and the European classical tradition.
