Edition 2025 — Siena Awards

The eleventh edition of the Siena Awards Photo Festival took place from September 27th to November 23rd, 2025, transforming Siena, Sovicille, and Castelnuovo Berardenga into a showcase for international contemporary photography. Ten exhibitions, three competitions, and a day of talks explored human rights, the environment, inequality, and migration through the eyes of the world's greatest photographers.

The eleventh edition of the Siena Awards Photo Festival featured ten photographic exhibitions hosted in fascinating spaces — former distilleries, historic palaces, museums, and art schools — across Siena and the villages of Sovicille and Castelnuovo Berardenga. The official opening on Friday, September 26th, featured the SIPA Talks at the Teatro dei Rinnovati, while the award ceremony for the three international competitions (SIPA, Creative Photo Awards, and Drone Photo Awards) was held on Saturday, September 27th.

Among the most spectacular highlights was ARS LUCIS – The Path of Light, a video mapping projection on the Torre del Mangia that created a dialogue between 14th-century frescoes and the finalist images of the SIPA.
