Edition 2025 — Sicily Music Conference
2025 Edition: The Fourth Edition
The fourth edition of the Sicily Music Conference was held from May 14 to 17, 2025, between Palermo and Catania, consolidating the event as a benchmark for the Italian and international music industry, with a program full of meetings, workshops, listening sessions, and networking.
In Catania, the showcases took place in numerous city spaces: Ex-Empire Casa della Musica, Mono, Tinni Tinni, Disco Mercato, Frequenza, Piazza Carlo Alberto, and Piazza Castello. Selected bands included Acquachiara, Misha the Beast, Mac Tire, Ayom, Afrodelic, Soul Rolled Fox, Absolight (Canada), Angelo Sicurella, and leCORDEinARIA. The Catania meetings addressed the theme of artistic residencies and festivals in the Mediterranean, the cultural reuse of confiscated spaces, and, with an expert, mental health and burnout prevention for artists.
