Edition 2025 — FOSS Symphonic Season
65th Symphonic Season 2024/2025
The 2024/2025 season of the FOSS at the Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo reprised the established format of thirty different programs in sixty performances, on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons, from October to the end of May.
The program combined the great classical and romantic symphonic repertoire with 20th-century works and premieres, featuring international guest conductors and soloists. The traditional Christmas Concert and New Year's Concert were also highlights, drawing large crowds from Palermo. The season confirmed the orchestra's central role in the cultural life of the Municipality of Palermo and the entire Sicilian Region.
