Sicilian SwingAge Festival

The inaugural edition brought an international festival entirely dedicated to swing to Palermo for the first time. In the setting of the Alle Terrazze venue in Mondello, dancers and musicians from all over the world shared three days of intensive Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz workshops, jam sessions, performances, and long nights of social dancing overlooking the gulf.

The heart of the event was the moving tribute to Norma Miller, the "Queen of Swing," celebrated on the 105th anniversary of her birth, six years after her visit to Palermo. The success of the first edition, supported by the Sicilian Region, laid the foundations for the festival's return in 2026.
