Sicilian Carnival of Adrano

The 2025 edition of the Sicilian Carnival of Adrano (CT) brought back the rich program that characterizes the event: school costume parades in the first days, parades of allegorical floats and masked groups through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by evening DJ sets and moments of celebration for all ages.

Also in 2025, the streets of Adrano were filled with stalls selling traditional Sicilian Carnival sweets — chiacchiere, sfinci, and zeppole — and the town's traditional masks: U Baruni, A Vecchia, and U Zu Paulu. The parade of allegorical floats, with their satirical creations on current events and public figures, confirmed the community's strong bond with this tradition of the Etna region, in Sicily.
